then<br \/>\nmy own adventures take me past the world i knew<br \/>\nlike a dream keeps dancin&#8217; in my head<br \/>\non the road again<br \/>\ni&#8217;m my own forgotten friend<br \/>\ni&#8217;m alone again<br \/>\ncan\u2019t explain and can\u2019t pretend<br \/>\nwhen i&#8217;m alone<br \/>\non the road again<\/p>\n<p>my new found buddies always have a tale to tell<br \/>\nabout the folks they left behind<br \/>\nwell i left a soul or two my own along the way<br \/>\nhow do i say good-bye to them<br \/>\ni&#8217;m on the road again<br \/>\ncan&#8217;t say how it all began<br \/>\ni&#8217;m alone again<br \/>\ndon&#8217;t know when it&#8217;s all gonna end<br \/>\nbut i&#8217;m alone<br \/>\non the road again<\/p>\n<p>so many places i have been &#8211; so many faces i have seen<br \/>\nof all the names that i have known &#8211; i can\u2019t recall them all<br \/>\ni have my ticket to the world &#8211; and i\u2019ve travelled far and wide<br \/>\nmy home is where i find myself &#8211; I guess my conscience is my guide<br \/>\nwhen i&#8217;m on the road<br \/>\ndon\u2019t know where it all began<br \/>\ni\u2019m alone<br \/>\non the road again<\/p>\n<p>i look at strangers like my family<br \/>\nthey be treatin&#8217; me like someone that they know<br \/>\ni enter places that are new to me<br \/>\nbut i always seem to know which way to go<br \/>\non the road again<br \/>\njust as long as i keep movin&#8217;<br \/>\non the road again<br \/>\nno designs, no delusions<br \/>\ni&#8217;m alone again<br \/>\non the road again<\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;ve heard so many people&#8217;s stories of their lives<br \/>\nsat around the table now an&#8217;
