The geese are heading north
\nA long cruel winter passed and now
\nA time for rebirth
\nIs upon us
\nYet
\nA fallow mind is waiting
\nHanging back
\nNo thoughtful schemes
\nNo sober propagations
\nCloud this wistful dormancy,
\nThis blissful paradox; a
\nVague, translucent soul
\nIs tucked away<\/p>\n
The geese are heading north
\nThe time has come
\nFor planting
\nYet
\nThe dormant field
\nCannot control
\nWhat grows within
\nThis envaulted ground
\nSo nor can this disparaged
\nIntellect select it\u2019s crop
\nThough fertile, rich, it
\nCannot choose which path to follow<\/p>\n
And so as the geese head north
\nAnd farmers ready fields
\nFor planting
\nYet
\nA fallow mind is
\nHanging back
\nUnable to accept
\nThe first step forward
\nSitting out another season
\nWaiting
